The Story Behind Eulogai

Eulogai was born from personal experience.

Whilst preparing the eulogy for my father, I realised that many families face the same challenge:

finding the right words to honour someone they love.

Our mission is simple:

To help families preserve stories, honour lives and create lasting legacies.

About the founder

An English Literature graduate with an early career in journalism and communications, he has spent much of his professional life writing, presenting and helping organisations tell their stories. He has spoken at global conferences and is often the person friends, family and colleagues turn to when important words need to be found.

Yet when his own father passed away in 2026, discovered something unexpected.

Despite a lifetime spent writing and communicating, he found crafting a eulogy both emotionally demanding and surprisingly time-consuming at a time of competing demands supporting family as they rallied to deal with funeral arrangements and “death admin”.

Faced with almost a century of memories, achievements, lessons and family stories, the challenge was not finding words. It was deciding which words mattered most.

If someone comfortable with writing, public speaking and storytelling found the process difficult, how much more overwhelming might it be for families facing the same task without those experiences?

That experience became the inspiration for Eulogai.

Eulogai was created to help families preserve memories, honour lives and find the words that matter when they matter most.
